Jubilant FTSE!!!!

There were quite a few reasons why the FTSE 100 closed above 6000 mark . * The US market boost added to the rise* Indian steel group TATA Steels possible takeover bid of Anglo-Dutch Stell company Corus . * Helped by the Bank of England's plans of holding the interest rates at 4.75 percent.* Mining stocks doing well due to continuing increases in global metal prices.* due to cooling Oil prices the US stocks especially DOW is benefiting and hence reducing fears of inflation rise. Therefore, looks like the FTSE has a reason to be jubilant because with the predictions, seems like oil prices ill continue to decline bringing stability to the markets.
